Prof. Krishna Pal Singh is an Indian academic administrator and scientist serving as the Vice-Chancellor of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, having officially assumed office on 8 September 2026.

Academic Background & Research Education: Holds an M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Chemistry. Fields of Research: Specializes in membrane biophysics, nanobiosensors, nanomaterials, targeted drug delivery, and molecular diagnostics. International Experience: Conducted advanced scientific research abroad in Slovakia, Croatia, and the United Kingdom.

Administrative & Teaching Career Professor: Served as a Professor of Biophysics at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.

Leadership Roles: Prior to joining Gorakhpur University, served as Vice-Chancellor of: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar Maharana Pratap Horticultural University, Karnal.
